52 Week Goal Challenges

Hey everyone, and welcome to week 47 of the 52-week goal challenges. This week we are focusing on strengthening our relationships by challenging someone daily.

So to complete this week’s challenge, you must fight at least 1 person to the death everyday… wait, that’s not right..oh, sorry, challenge someone every day.

What I mean by 'challenge' is a friendly competition. Whether it be through games, racing, preferably by foot and not car, getting something done like seeing who can get something done before someone else.

You can challenge your co-workers, your friends, your family, you name it.

But why? Why? WHY?

If you stop asking, then I can tell you sheesh!

Competition is a significant driver of motivation, accountability, performance, and innovation. It pushes you to be better.
So, if you are struggling to get something done or to change a habit, then throwing in a little friendly competition might just be the kick in the pants you need to get it done.

Not only that but friendly, the keyword “friendly” competition helps build and strengthen relationships through relatability. It also releases endorphins such as oxytocin and adrenaline, which are associated with an elevation in mood.

So I challenge you to get on out there and start challenging people.

All in the name of light-heartedness and fun. If you take things too seriously, it can cause you to be a poor loser. Then you run the risk of hurting relationships because let’s be honest …no one likes a sore loser.

So let’s take it easy this week, ok? Unless it’s Catan, Catan is LIFE!
